She has studied at the Latvian State University, obtaining Bachelor’s degree in German Language and Philology Department. After that she completed Master’s studies at the Latvian State University, Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology.

• Works as a German language teacher at education and language centre “MIRTE”, work experience in various schools and language centres.
• Teaching general German language for individual clients and groups.

“I have been teaching German language for more than 15 years, have worked for language agencies “MIRTE”, “Kultūra”, “Lated”, “Dialogs ABC”, “BUTS”, the Business School “Turība”. I am fond of inquisitive, responsive students and hard-working homework doers, but … I get angry (just a bit – because I’m Taurus!), if I see indifference, laziness and arrogance. German language can be mastered in 30 years as said the great American writer Mark Twain!

For many years I have been practicing as a guide for Latvian tourists travelling to Germany, Austria and Switzerland, also to Tallinn, Tartu, across Latvia, and also showed the magic of our country to German-speaking tourists.

And whenever I have a free moment, I love going to the theatre, cinema, concerts, exhibitions, reading good books and travelling!”
