He holds Master’s degree in English Philology, University of Latvia, Riga. He has good command of Latvian, English, Russian and German.
- Since 2016 up to now he works as an English language teacher at Education and Language Centre “Mirte” (previous work experience with secondary schools and other training centres, such as “Lated”, “New Horizons” and “Durbe”);
- With 30 years of teaching experience he has also been working as a translator;
- Participated in various training, training process management and teacher professional development courses and projects (e.g. Instructor Training Course, Fort Gordon, Georgia, United States; Management of Training Workshop, Army School of Training Support, Upavon, Pewsey, United Kingdom; A teacher professional development course by British Council – “Learning Technologies for Classroom”; Professional development and Methodology seminars by Oxford University Press and Pearson, and many more);
