“Only once in my life have I looked for a job. And I found it 44 years ago in Anniņmuiža, where in the shade of green trees and surrounded by meadows not far away from Imanta railway station Riga 2. Boarding school is located. My way further led to the Riga Secondary school No. 73, Riga Christian School and Riga Commerce School. Profession of teacher has never been my dream. But – “Practice makes the master!” I liked this work more and more, and soon I went to school with joy and pleasure. I was interested in methodology, so I started to compile teaching materials. Cooperation with the publishing house “Zvaigzne ABC” began. Alongside with work at school I also taught German language for adults: RRC, companies “Lated”, “Dialogs AB”, “Ad Verbum” and “Mirte”. My second occupation is translation.
I am pleased to observe success of my former students and share ideas with them. I love flowers and gardening. I read a lot, visit theatre and exhibitions. I seek something new in my work all the time.”
